15th Ukraine Container

Today we had the privilege of loading our 15th shipping container of humanitarian aid to Ukraine since the full-scale invasion began. It felt like a genuine harvest, the gathering-in of months of collecting, organising, sorting, praying, and preparing. The day was filled with unity, fellowship, hard work, and a deep sense of God’s provision.

A Remarkable Provision of Aid

This container carried some of the most valuable and urgently needed items we have ever been able to send, including:

  • 12 hospital beds
  • 5 specialised physiotherapy beds
  • Several additional treatment and examination beds
  • Hundreds of boxes of essential medical consumables
  • 2 cages worth of incontinence pads
  • Pallets of mobility aids, including zimmer frames, rollators and commodes.

All of this will be distributed by our long-term partners, Ganta Fonds in Latvia, and from there transported into Ukraine over the coming months to hospitals, care homes, churches, frontline communities, and families in need.

God’s Faithfulness in Every Stage

Days like today remind us that a full container does not simply appear. It follows:

  • months of generous giving
  • careful sorting and preparing
  • early mornings and late nights
  • long, cold days working in the warehouse
  • prayer upon prayer

There is a quiet perseverance behind every box and bed that went onto that container and today we saw the fruit of that endurance.

A Reflection from Scripture

In seasons of sustained effort, when the work is good but the workers grow tired, a verse from Nehemiah speaks with fresh power:

“Do not be grieved, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”
Nehemiah 8:10

Nehemiah’s people were worn out, stretched thin, and overwhelmed by the sheer scale of the task of rebuilding the wall. Yet God called them not to strive in their own strength, but to find fresh courage in His joy, His energy, His sustaining grace.

For us, too, this work continues, sometimes joyfully, often wearily, but always with the confidence that God provides the strength we lack. We press on because He enables us to press on.

Looking Ahead

We are already preparing for the next container, trusting that the same God who filled this one will continue supplying every need.

To all who pray, give, lift, drive, organise, or encourage us, thank you.
